Late Work Policy

Submission Deadline: Late work will be accepted for partial credit until the end of the current unit. Assignments submitted after this deadline will receive a grade of zero and cannot be made up.

Late Work Deduction:

• 1st Semester: 20% deduction

• 2nd Semester: 40% deduction

Retake Policy

Eligibility for Retakes:

• Students who score below 85% on a test may be eligible to retake it.

• The highest score will be recorded up to 85%. 

Retake Procedure:

• Retake procedures vary by subject.

• Retakes must be completed within one week of when the original test is returned and/or recorded in ProgressBook.

Bathroom Policy

To ensure minimal disruption to the class, teachers will guide you on the best times to request a restroom break. Please remember to fill out the sign-out sheet and have it signed by your teacher before leaving the classroom.

Exceptions may be made for students who have excused absences, medical conditions, accommodations, etc. Please see your teacher if you have any questions.

SCHOOL GRADING POLICY:  Your grades will be weighted.  This means some assignments will be worth more than others.  Eighty percent (80%) of your overall grade will be an assessment of learning such as tests, quizzes, projects, final writing pieces, etc.  Twenty percent (20%) of your overall grade will be practice of learning, such as class work, homework, etc.
