Ages 3-5
Monday-Wednesday-Friday: 9 am to 3 pm $900 per month
Tuesday-Thursday: 9 am to 12 pm $320 per month
Forest School Practitioners and Certified Early Childhood Educators staff our program.
Our Facilitators respect children's learning by setting clear and realistic expectations, limits and boundaries and supporting the children in developing self-regulation strategies.
Low adult-child ratios allow for individual attention and direction.
Facilitators guide risk/benefit assessments to ensure children's safety while allowing them opportunities to explore their physical and cognitive abilities.
We work in partnerships with parents, schools and childcare providers, allowing for a team-based approach.
Child-centred approach, supporting the child through the use of natural and logical consequences.
Ages 5-7 or 8-12
Tuesday Cohort: 2:30 to 5:30 pm $184 per month
Thursday Cohort: 2:30 to 5:30 pm $184 per month
Our program is staffed by Forest School Practitioners /Certified Early Childhood Educators and/or registered Primary Education teachers.
Facilitators will facilitate experiences between children, adults and the environment.
Experiences include group games, fort building, mud kitchen and dramatic play, hammocks and swings, science and nature exploration. Support children in assessing risk and child-directed experiences.
Adult and Child Program (ages 16-36 months)
Friday cohort: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm $120 per month
Saturday Cohort: 10:30 am to 12:30 $120 per month
Facilitators facilitate play experiences between children, adults and the environment. These experiences often include: hide-and-seek, mud kitchen and dramatic play, hammocks and swings, science and nature exploration. Facilitators will support parents in assessing risk, facilitating child-directed play and discussing developmental milestones and other questions.
Easter and Summer Camps
Experiences each week will be appropriate to the age and stage of development of the Camp age. Experiences are based on the interests and personalities of the group.
Facilitators will help facilitate experiences between children, adults, and the environment; group games, fort building, hammocks and swings, science and nature exploration. During this time, practitioners will also support children in assessing risks.
Based on the observations and interests, Facilitators will connect learning from previous days (or current day) to the Summer Camp curriculum by providing teachable moments to expand the learning.
