Registration Process
For Spring 2026 AP exams, students at Red Oak High School will be registering online. Online Exam registration will begin on Monday, August, 2025 at 12:00 AM and end on Mon, Mar 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The AP exam registration process is two steps, but both can be completed in one sitting when the student and parent/guardian do this together. Step 1:
Begin the process by registering on the ROHS Total Registration Site. Here you will indicate the AP courses you are taking this year and the exams you wish to take. You will receive your join codes and directions to complete the second required step. Any exam fees will be paid online so be sure to have a debit card or credit card available before beginning registration.
Step 2:
Use the join codes provided at the completion of step one to join AP Classroom for your course(s) and indicate your exam decision in the College Board system (www.collegeboard.org).

The base exam fee is $99 per test.
Yes, For public school students who qualify for the College Board fee reduction of $37 per exam, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) will pay $39 per AP Exam. Final AP Exam fee for fee-reduced students for each AP Exam (except AP Seminar and AP Research Exams).

Nov. 7 is the final order deadline for students to order their test for fall or full-year courses. Students who decided to test after this date will have an extra $40 late fee for their test.
March 6 is the final order deadline for all tests for fall, spring, and full-year courses.
Tests not paid in full by March 6 will be cancelled and the exams will not be ordered.
What if I decide not to test?
Students who register and paid for a 2026 test and who cancel prior to November 7, 2024 will not be charged a cancellation fee and will receive a refund for their unused test. Students need to inform the AP Coordinator of their intent to cancel previously ordered AP exams as soon as possible.
Students who cancel after the November 7th deadline will be charged at $40 cancellation fee.
