This site should cover most of the grammatical rules and conventions that you will need to keep in mind when writing. This can be used for either essay-style writing, or for creative writing.
Knowing how to write using these rules and conventions will make your writing clearer and allow you to communicate your ideas to your reader. This will allow your reader to focus more on the ideas behind your writing than how you have written it.
For each page, there will be an explanation of the topic and some links to either further reading or videos that can help if you are still unsure. There will also be a short quiz you can fill out at the end of each page to see how well you know the content. Use this as a way of checking your understanding of these topics and refreshing your memory.
You will most likely not cover all of these concepts in one year, but you have access to information on them that you can go back to or start looking forward to.
