Energy Generation and Storage

Introduction 

I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering at NED University, Karachi since 2012. My main research focus includes energy generation and storage technologies (hydrogen and batteries). I have experience working on catalyst synthesis, characteristion and application, with techniques such as but not limited to thermal, electro, photocatalysis. Furthermore, I have expertise in SEM, XRD, XRF, BET, FTIR, Raman, Potentiostat, battery testing and Gas chromatography.  

In addition to being a faculty member in the teaching department, i have an additional assignment as Deputy Director in the Quality Enhancement Cell at NED University, I am involved with several tasks that include but are not limited to Internal Audits, Surveillance Audits, IPE, MS/PhD reviews etc.  I have good skills in project management with a focus on project timelines, proposal writing, human resource (acquisition and capacity building), procurement, and technical work. 

In my spare time, I prefer to work as a consultant on materials-related problems for industries.
