At the end of May your homeroom teacher will get a list of all the students who have books from the library that have not been returned. If your name is on that list you will be asked to search everywhere it could possibly be (desk, cubby, backpack, home, car, etc.) before the end of June. If you are still not able to locate the book, you may be asked to pay a small fee to help replace the lost book. Situations may vary depending on the circumstances.
Don't hide it or throw it away! We promise you won't get in trouble, accidents happen! Bring it back to Ms. MacDougald or the library helpers at the circulation desk. They might be able to fix the book.
