Home Practice 

This section provides families with additional activities for practice at home

Suggested Activities :

• Reading : 100 mins of French reading per week (roughly 15-20 minutes a day)

• Writing : Practice printing and handwriting skill by writing grocery lists, inventing stories and writing about experiences.

• Math :  Check out 'Math Games' under the 'Student Hub' for a variety of interactive math activities (also see useful links below for virtual math resources)

Other Suggestions for Enrichment :

• Listening to shows or movies in French - This is something we do in the classroom during lunch.  Many bluray/dvd and streaming services (Netflix, Disney Plus, etc.) have the option for French audio.  

• Listening to reading of books in French - Lots of French books can be found on Youtube and the PEI Public Library allows you access to Tumblebooks (see eBooks & Audiobooks on the Public Library Website)

• Writing in French - invent a story, write a song or poem, write the grocery list in French or write about your day... anything!
