Homeroom Reminders

WELCOME BACK TO THE START OF THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR!

On this portion of the website parents and students of 9B will find important notes regarding upcoming dates or homeroom reminders.

The first day of school will be September 7th for our grade 7 students, and all other students in grade 8 and 9 will start on the September 8th. 

Friday, September 8th, 2023

Student information & permission forms will go home with students today. Parents are encouraged to look over all forms carefully, make any necessary changes directly on the sheets, and sign where needed.  

Please leave all forms stapled together, as they are this way for filing purposes in the office. 

Grade 9 students are also being sent home with Immunization forms on the first or second day.  We do not have a set date yet - but it's usually sometime in Nov.?   Please sign and return the immunization form asap. as we will return to Public Health. Thanks so much!

Student Fees: 

$25.00/student or $40.00/family. 

E-transfer can still be used at this time: eastwiltshire@edu.pe.ca 

Cash will be accepted at the office. Please have cash in ziploc bag with the student's name & homeroom on the bag. 

Math Students 9B, 9D/9E, 9C/9F, 9G/9H:

Please check out the math tabs of this website for more information or if you want to get a head-start on coming prepared with necessary supplies!  This year, all students will be provided with the following supplies:

• Black "Staples" Binder for Math

• Red "Staples" Binder for Sci./SS

• Blue "Staples" Binder for LA & French

• A package of four hilroy scribblers - one of which should be placed in their math binder.

• A package of 10 dividers (Put 1 in Red Binder, 3 in Black binder, 3 in Blue)

• Pen and pencil

• They will have access to a calculator in class, but if they have their own they are encouraged to bring and use!

• They will also have access to rulers, glue sticks, markers, and pencil crayons, but again, if they would like their own personal supplies, by all means bring!

If your child would like other supplies, they are welcome to bring them too!
