I was born and raised in Summerside, Prince Edward Island and now live in Charlottetown, with my partner, Dominick, and our two sons, Wyatt and Nico. We also have a dog Sully and a fish name Randolph.
Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and had a passion for early childhood. in 2006 I graduated from the Early Childhood Care and Education program at Holland College. After working in the field from a few years, I returned to school and graduated with a degree in Child and Family Studies and then a degree in Education. After graduating, I returned to early childhood. Following my time in the Early Childhood sector, I began to focus my career in the public school system. Kindergarten has always been my career goal and after teaching in various grades and schools, I am happy to be teaching kindergarten at Glen Stewart.
I spend a lot of time outside. I enjoy camping, hiking and biking with my family. I also enjoy reading, baking, cooking and gardening. In the winter we spend a lot of time at Brookvale and in the summer months we love to explore island trails and beaches!
