We are SO excited to announce that this year, MCS will be doing Finding Nemo the Musical! This page will host all the information and practice resources you need.

• Full Day Dress/Tech Rehearsal : Saturday May 9th

• Performances: Tuesday May 12th, Wednesday May 13th, and Thursday May 14th

Newest Information

• NO REHEARSAL THURSDAY MARCH 5th AFTER SCHOOL due to Parent-Teacher Interviews. Thanks for your understanding! 🙂

• An email has been sent out to all parents/guardians with musical info. Please let us know if you did not receive it and we will add you to the email list.

• Each student has received a list of costume items to bring in. Each student is responsible for their own costume, and the school will provide any extras outside the given list. Please bring costumes to school in a garment bag labelled with your child's name and role. Thanks!

• After March break, students will be expected to be off-book (lines and songs memorized), and we will add in one extra rehearsal each week. This means after March break we will rehearse Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 2:45pm - 4:15pm. 

• Permission forms have been sent home, and must be signed + returned for students to stay for rehearsals after school. If you need a copy, please see the document to the right  ->

• We will meet Thursday December 11th after school from 2:45pm - 4:15pm for our first script read-through. This will be our only rehearsal before the Winter break, and all cast members are expected to attend.

• After the Winter break, starting Thursday January 8th, we will rehearse every Thursday after school from 2:45 - 4:15pm. All cast members are expected to attend these rehearsals.

• This is a big commitment, and something we take seriously. We are very excited to have your child involved in this show, and truly believe this is an amazing opportunity and experience for the entire cast. Thank you for your support!

Auditions will be Tuesday, Oct. 21st after school from 3-4:30pm. Students are expected to sing one song of their choice, and recite one monologue (choose one of these two) for their audition. They must have their permission slip signed and returned in order to stay. Please be ready to pick up the students by the gym doors at 4:30pm sharp! Musicals take a lot of teamwork, so everyone who auditions will have a part! 🙂
