Happy Friday everyone! Yippee!!
Today, in my daily video, I give you a good workout of many addition facts and ask you to try to get the answers as quickly as possible using all the different strategies we have learned. If you need extra practice on the "Make 10" strategy with 9s please see my video for January 14 and January 19. If you need extra practice with doubles, and doubles plus one, please see my January 13, 17 and 18 videos.
I will have a Google Meet at 10:30 and will give more practice using addition strategies with you. (Google Meet link will appear above at about 10:20 on Friday, so you can join me.)
Don't forget to go onto Mathletics every day (link above) and do about 15 to 20 minutes of activities on your "To do" list I have created for you.

Please watch my daily video showing another addition strategy (the Make 10 strategy with 8s) I also review the "Make 10" strategy with 9s.
Then join me on my Google Meet at 10:30am (link will appear above just before 10:30). Make sure you "refresh" this page by hitting the circle shaped arrow on your navigation bar.
Then go on the Mathletics Online Program (link above) and spend 15 to 20 minutes doing
the "To Do" activities and Explore and Play.

Hello Students.
There will be NO Google Meet today.
However, please watch my video and try using the Doubles and Double Plus One strategies that we learned about over the last few days (see my previous videos for review).
After watching my video, Grade one should do pages 66 to 70 in their Math Makes Sense book . Grade 2 should do the worksheet below..
Finally, both Grade 1 and Grade 2 should go on the Mathletics Online Math Program (link above)for at least 20 minutes today. Do the "To Do" activities and then on to the "Explore" activities and you can also spend time on the "play" activity.

Today's video is continuing with Addition Strategies (doubles plus one/ doubles minus 1). I will hold a Google Meet at 10:30 to review these addition strategies with you. I hope you can all make it.
