We are doing a novel study on the book Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library.  I am reading the book to the class and they are working on making connections, recalling events and their overall comprehension skils while answering questions about the book.  

This is practice for when we complete another novel study later this year, where the students will be in charge of reading the story themselves.  

We have also been working in small groups on similar skills as well as our accuracy and fluency.
