Hi!

My name is Sharleen Dunphy. I love dogs, beaches, camping, chocolate, the color red, CrossFit and teaching! I love to watch young children learn, grow and succeed in their own individual education path.

I am a graduate of Holland College as well as UPEI and have been teaching in the early years for 27 years. This is my tenth year at West Royalty Elementary and my ninth year teaching in grade one. The rest of my teaching years were taught in Kindergarten. 

 I am a proud mom of two children. I have a daughter (Avery) and a son (Evan). I enjoy spending time with my kids as well as my partner, Kyle and dogs Winston (11 year old boxer), Max(brown) and Stan(black), 2 year old Frenchtons! I'm sure you will hear many stories about these special people (and dogs) in my life throughout the year :) 

I look very forward to getting to know all of you and building a positive relationship this 2025-2026 school year!
