Homework

Grade 1 students will have homework Monday through Thursday. Each grade will have nightly reading all week. Grade 1 will have a poem as well as word wall words to learn. Thanks with homework in advance. It is an important part of their learning and our partnership together will best benefit your son or daughter.

Lunches

Please have your son or daughter participate in the packing of their lunch. It is a long day at school and if they won't eat what is in their lunch it will make for an unhappy camper. Please ensure that spoons and forks are included in their lunch as they are not provided at the school. You will also have the opportunity to buy healthy lunches through our Hot Lunch program.

Notes

If there happens to be a change in the end of the day with buses or getting picked up, please ensure that you write a note in the agenda with the explanation. The end of the day is very busy so to avoid confusion it is very helpful to have the note. If there happens to be a change throughout the day, please call the school and leave a message with our administrative assistant. She will forward the message along. Please don't send an email as I may not get a chance to check it throughout the day. We are not allowed to accept bus notes for students going to a friends house after school. It must be child care related only.

Agendas

Please ensure that your child brings their agenda back to school everyday. We use them daily to record reading and notes. Thank you.
