Please send cutlery with your children for their hot lunches.
Please make sure your child has a water bottle in class every day.
Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather of the day. It is getting wet and MUDDY out there! Also, please make sure your child has a change of clothes (or multiple) and lots of socks!
Please make sure to send homework bags back to school.
Our school's Occupational therapist wanted me to share these videos with all of you.
From our School OT:
Kindergarten students are starting to use pencils, crayons and markers every day in school. Holding these tools with a functional pencil grasp will make the activities of colouring within the lines and printing letters and numbers much easier. Please watch this video and work on the activities at home to help develop their pencil grasp.
About Me
I have worked with children since before I can remember! I've spent years teaching, and working at daycares and Early Learning Centres. I have my BEd with a specialization in elementary education, early literacy and play based learning. I also have my Early Childhood Certification!
My husband and I have 2 children,3 dogs, and lots of plants! I like to surround myself with life and joy and fun!
I like to craft, bake, garden as well as watch movies and play video games with my family! I also love to travel, and go ATVing with family and friends.
