About Me

My name is Marcie Boyle. I was born and raised in Harrington, PEI and now live in beautiful Brackley Beach. My husband and I own the Brackley Drive-In Theater and we have 4 children. My oldest son is in 4th-year computer science at UPEI and my other two sons work full-time. I also have one daughter and she is in grade 7 this year.

Education

I completed my undergrad and teaching degree at UPEI. I have been teaching for over 11 years and started my teaching career at Gulf Shore Consolidated. Last year I taught a split class at St. Jean Elementary and before that I was at West Royalty Elementary for two years and now I am excited to be part of the Parkdale Elementary School family. I have previously taught grades 1, 2, 3, 4, primary literacy support for grades 1-6 and behaviour resource. I am thrilled to be working with your children this year!

Teaching Style

As a teacher, I always make sure I give my students the best experience while teaching the required curriculum. I teach my students to be independent and to love learning by creating a great balance of hands-on activities, technology, and independent work.
