KF Quotes in the Classroom

We read books and watched some videos on what "truth and reconciliation" mean, to have a better understanding.  A student after learning about why we are wearing an orange shirt pipes up.

" Can I tell you something?"

 "Sure" I say. 

He says "You know jesus ?"

Me " Yes, I have heard of him." 

Student " Well he was a baby, then grew to be a man, then they hurt him, then they killed him and now he is dead!"

Another student  looks over at this student and says " That's just on social media!!"
