Hi 2E Families!
We had a great first full week in grade 2! We discussed classroom and school expectations, surveyed our reading interests, dabbled in some writing and began working through outcomes in our Life Learning Choices unit in Health! In math, we learned some mental math games for practicing doubles facts, did some skip count practice and began learning about ordinal numbers. Despite the warmth in our room, they did an amazing job re-entering school life. It was great meeting some of you at Meet the Teacher night; I have linked some discussion points on my Meet the Teacher page if you would like to check it out:)
