3A Celebrated the 100th Day of School on Tuesday, February 27. We had lots of fun!!

Can you get to the centre of the tootsie roll pop in 100 licks?? 3A gave it their best try!!

We completed the last 2 experiments for our science unit: Invisible Forces:

Merrily We Roll Along....and....Paperclip Jump

All grade 3 students participated in the I'm Thumbody program offered by the Canadian Mental Health Association. Ms. Abby was a wonderful presenter and talked a lot about physical and mental health and emotions. Please check your child's homework bag for the "Tips for Grown-Ups" booklet. The students also made an emotion wheel and a thumbprint button.

The kids had lots of fun with our Science unit-invisible forces. Science Stations were a big hit! Show your child the pictures below and ask them to tell you about each experiment. :)

3A did a fabulous job creating their Friendship Posters...showing how to be a good friend with nice words and actions! 

Eliza used some of her reward tickets to buy the class a drawing video! Thanks, Eliza! You all did a great job of your drawing.
