I hope everyone had a restful weekend, and the kiddos are ready to get back to KJ tomorrow 😊Â
We had a great first week. I was very impressed with how fast they are catching onto routines and expectations. We had a practice fire drill on Friday and they did wonderful! We have a couple more coming up.Â
This week we will be focusing on recognizing and writing their names. We will also be starting Fundations, which is a program designed for students to learn letters, their corresponding sounds and how to form the letters. I will be sending home a small package with further information and some things you can work on at home.Â
On Wednesday, you are all invited into our classroom for Meet the Teacher. Kindergarten session runs from 6:00-6:15. I am hoping to see you all then.
