Math work will be independent work focusing on re-enforcement of taught material or practice of facts
Student agenda use – at the beginning of the year, teachers will support the habit of daily use with signatures and daily checks, The goal is to build independence by the end of the year.
School work may be occasionally sent home to be completed if a student chooses not to use their time wisely in class.
A deadline will always be given with ample time to finish (over several nights)
Homework will be adapted to meet specific student needs
Parents are always encouraged to reach out to your child’s teacher if your child is struggling or unable to complete homework independently.
