For our current Rock Unit, we will be using the tune "Just Like Fire" by Pink. We will choose instruments and cover the following curriculum outcomes, skills and concepts: 

1. Dynamics (louds and softs - symbols and meanings)

2. Dynamics as balance in the ensemble 

3. Form (sections of a song)

4. Playing chords to a familiar song

5. Examine and value music as a source of enjoyment and well-being 

6. Musical Triage (Lonis & Haley) - learners being very involved in the process of discovering new things and answering questions
