My name is Nick Sheehan and I live and teach elementary school on Prince Edward Island. I was born in Dublin, Ireland and moved to Canada as a teenager. I studied fine arts at university and have written and published comics, articles, stories and film scripts. In 2002 my wife, Jenifer Newbold (who also teaches for the PSB) and I moved to Japan where we spent ten years working as educators. We also spent three years living, learning and teaching on an Anishinaabe reserve in Northern Ontario. When I'm not working in the classroom I spend my time reading, writing, drawing, listening to music and studying bugs (in fact, I have a Youtube show all about the insects of PEI you can find here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdqqclQ_j64&list=PLThM9qHAAiQ6DQ6__7FYCcxXv4EyY0YXZ )
Please feel free to use these videos at home, in your classroom or anywhere else they might be useful to children. Thanks!
