NEED SOME COMMUNITY SERVICE BURSARY HOURS
Cornwall Town Hall - Saturday December 9 -Christmas Parade
We are looking for 15-20 students to collect food for the food bank along the parade route. They will need to dress warmly. They will also be leading the parade and setting the pace.
5:30pm - meet at Eliot River school. Any volunteers will have to be dropped off at ERES and picked up at Cornwall Town Hall. We would love to see the leadership class, or the step-up group participate in this event.
We are also looking for 5 students to help at the Cornwall town hall during the Santa mingle following the parade serving soup and refreshments. This will also be held outside.
We would also like to offer students the opportunity to serve lunch to seniors at our annual seniors Christmas lunch on December 14th. This event is held during school hours (10:30- 1:30pm) so I don’t know how feasible this is but if there is a class or group that does want to do it, we would love to have them.
Interested students and / or teachers can reach out to Greg Lucas by November 28th. He can be reached at glucas@cornwallpe.ca
