Bienvenue à la classe 5A
My name is Bethany Norris and I was born and raised in PEI. After living in Western Canada for twelve years and Egypt for three years, I returned home to raise my son.
I have been an educator for most of my life, beginning with children and teens with autism and then as an educational assistant in Vernon, BC. I graduated from Vancouver Island University with a B.Ed. specializing in elementary. I then graduated from l'Université Sainte-Anne with an M.Ed specializing in teaching French as a second language.
My son and I love the outdoors. You will find us kayaking the rivers of PEI in the summer, hiking in the woods in the fall, snowshoeing and sledding in the winter, and splashing in mud puddles in the spring.
I am excited for this year even with all the new challenges that we will face together. I look forward to teaching grade five this year and cannot wait to get started.
