Sept. 24th
Hello everyone,
We have started adding up our donations for Terry Fox. Our Terry Fox run is tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 25th) but we will be collecting donations all week. We have already passed our class goal of $22.00 :) Thank you!
Upcoming field trip:
Next Wednesday, October 1st, all Grade 2 English classes will be heading off on an outdoor adventure to Robert Cotton Park! We’ll be walking together to the park to take part in a variety of fun, hands-on learning activities in nature. We’ll pause for a snack while we’re there (so pack something quick and easy to enjoy outdoors) and return to school in time for lunch, filled with fresh air and new experiences!
Rain date: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll plan to go Thursday instead.
A permission slip is being sent home today. Please sign and return this by the end of this week.

Hello and Welcome to 2D!
My name is Shauna Bradley. This will be my sixteenth-year teaching at Glen Stewart and I am very excited to be back in grade two. I look forward to getting to know you and all my students in 2D!
Our classroom EA is the wonderful Ms. Crane! Ms. Crane has been at Glen Stewart for 10 years and she has 28 years of experience. This is our 7th year together as a classroom team.
During the first few weeks of school we like to focus on getting to know each other, building a sense of community, and establishing our classroom routines.
I will post a weekly update on my class site every Monday, to keep you informed of our learning and any other relevant information that I need to share with you.

We were so lucky to have the Author of The Rainbow Dragon come read her new book to us. Adalynn is a grade 6 student at Stratford Elementary, and she is a former student of mine. She is the youngest author in PEI! The students loved her book and wrote kind messages to her!
