Add a battery pack to a breadboard using the "rails". The two lines of connections running along the edge. Then you can easily add several components to the breadboard and power them from the rails.
Important Do not add a battery pack with more than 3v to the micro:bit. The micro:bit will probably be damaged if you do. If you need more the 3v for any component then add the battery pack to the breadboard and power the componenet from the breadboard and not the batterypack. The signal/input/output pins can be connected to the micro:bit but take the power from the rails on the breadboard.
