The following students spun The Wheel of Excellence this week for rewards from teachers who caught them demonstrating good character, academics, or behavior around campus:
Thank you for leading by example!
We did our ATLAS prize drawings this week.
Students could earn up to 7 entries by being present for all 4 tests, increasing their score from last year on Math, Science, or ELA, and scoring Level 3/4 on Math, Science, or ELA. Out of 292 students, 289 of them earned at least one entry into the drawing.
Looking at the picture of the results, it paid off in our student's effort. Attendance issues were cut in half and we improved our levels of proficiency in almost every area, many in double digits.
We appreciate several community sponsors who helped by donating prizes, if you have the chance thank them for supporting Clinton JH.

Summer EBT provides $120 of extra grocery benefits to qualifying families with school-aged children in our community over the summer.
Last year, Summer EBT helped 336,000 kids in Arkansas access
healthy food while they were out of school. Summer EBT works
alongside Summer Meals to keep kids nourished all summer long
Check to see if you’re eligible for Summer EBT
Many children will receive Summer EBT automatically, but some will
need to apply. Students ages 5-17 receiving SNAP, TEA, Medicaid Free,
or Medicaid Reduced during the current school year should be
automatically enrolled. Other students should check to see if they are
eligible and need to apply.
You can quickly check eligibility using the QR code below, or at

As the school year comes to a close, we would like to share a few important reminders to help keep your child healthy and prepared for the upcoming school year.
All medical documentation, including diet orders, medication orders, Asthma Action Plans, Allergy Action Plans, and other healthcare plans, must be updated and submitted each school year. Please note that orders from the 2025–2026 school year will expire and will not be valid for the 2026–2027
school year.
Summer break is an excellent time to schedule your child’s medical appointments to ensure that all required documentation, including medication orders, treatment plans, procedures, and immunizations, are current prior to the start of the new school year.
If your child has an immunization exemption, please begin the renewal process over the summer to ensure all required documentation is submitted by the first day of school in August. The application can be completed online at the following link: https://onlineimmunizationexemption.adh.arkansas.gov/...
Additionally, please make arrangements to pick up any unused medications from the nurse’s office by the last day of school. This includes inhalers, EpiPens, prescription medications, and over-the-counter medications. The school is unable to store medications over the summer. Any medications not picked up within 10 days after the last day of school will be disposed of in accordance with proper safety guidelines.
If your child will require medication or medical care at school next year, please ensure all forms are completed and signed by a healthcare provider and parent/guardian prior to the first day of school.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school nurse. The nurse’s office will reopen the first week of August, and updated forms may be dropped off at that time
or brought on the first day of school.
Thanks,
Tara Barnett, RN

Before and after school program will begin Tuesday, September 2nd.
Available Monday through Thursday.
Before school tutoring is available starting at 6:40 a.m. to 7:40 a.m.
After school program runs from 3:30 to 5:15.
Limited transportation is available in the afternoon.
Sign forms are available in the office. Please let Ms. Treece or Ms. Alexander know if you have any questions about the program.
If your child would benefit from a weekend food bag, please contact the office. We have forms available to make sure your child is on the list if needed.
Please have all transportation changes called in to the offices before 1:00 each day. For the safety of students, we do not allow anyone to get on buses without a note from the office. Calling by 1:00 allows us time to distribute any changes to the students without delaying the buses.
We are having several complaints from our neighbors around campus. We need to remind everyone of afternoon procedures. There are two options for car riders in the afternoon.
Recommended is to meet in the arena parking lot where there is plenty of space.
Line up on Cedar Street behind the school.
a. Please pull all the way down to the stop sign or first available opening. Do not stop and block the road at the top.
b. Please stay on the road and off the grass of the residents.
