How do I apply for Financial Aid?
Filling out the FAFSA FAFSA Website The 2026-27 will be open October 1st.
The student will create an account on the Fed Student Aid website using their SSN and personal email address (not their clintonpublic.net address)
They will invite one guardian using their guardian’s personal email address
The guardian will access the email from Federal Student Aid and use the link they sent to create an account and fill out the form as the guardian.
You will need your SSN and tax info. From the previous year

Additional Financial Aid Forms to be aware of CSS Profile:
CSS Profile: 200 private institutions use the CSS profile in addition to the FAFSA form to award financial aid. Here is a list of the participating institutions for the 2026-27 CSS Profile
Your student will use their College board account to log in and navigate to the css profile.
They will need their SSN and a guardian’s personal email address to invite their guardian.
Guardian will access email generated from Collegeboard and fill out form. They will need their SSN and tax info. From the previous tax year.
Interpreting Financial Aid Offers:
Once you start to receive your financial aid summary reports, you may need some help interpreting the results so you can understand what the breakdown of the numbers mean.
