Mrs. Best  

Mrs. Best is a Clinton native and alumnus of Jared Eliot Middle School and The Morgan School ('80). She received a bachelor of arts degree in science from Connecticut College ('84) and a master of science degree in education from the University of New Haven ('99). She earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies, or 6th-year degree, in Educational Leadership from Sacred Heart University ('12). The 2023-2024 year marks her 25th year teaching at Eliot. Mrs. Best has two grown children, both graduates of The Morgan School.

In addition to her position as an 8th-grade science teacher and Team Leader for 8.1, Mrs. Best serves as the Coordinator of the After Hours/MARSS program at Eliot.
