Alison Sam, M.A

Alison Sam has a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut. Ms. Sam continued on to earn a Master's degree in School Counseling at the University of Saint Joseph. Ms. Sam joined the Clinton Public Schools team for the 2021-2022 school year. Ms. Sam has prior school counseling experience in both Salem and Montville, CT and has worked with students kindergarten through grade twelve.

Ms. Sam works with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. In addition, Ms. Sam is the 504 case manager.

Katrina D. Hicks, M.A., S.Y.C.

Katrina Hicks has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's Degree and Sixth Year Certification in School Psychology. Mrs. Hicks has worked for Clinton Public Schools since August 2018. Prior to working at Joel , Mrs. Hicks has gained experience in Wolcott and Shelton Public Schools as well as at the Parent Child Resource Center in Derby.

Mrs. Hicks works with students in preschool, kindergarten and first grade, and with the Intensive Learning Program and the Student Support Center.

Mrs. Hicks is the Special Education Team Leader for Joel.

Jacqueline Bonner, M.A., C.A.S.

Jacqueline Bonner has an undergraduate and Master's Degree in Psychology, and a Sixth Year Certification in School Psychology. Mrs. Bonner has worked in the Clinton school district since August 2007. Prior to working at Joel, Mrs. Bonner worked in several school districts including Orange, CT, Woodbridge, CT, and North Kingstown, RI.

Mrs. Bonner works with students in second, third, and fourth grade.
