During the summer, you can help your children get ready for school by having them exercise their brains. Of all exercises, reading is the most important. Start by encouraging your children to read anything they want. Reading helps children build a more robust vocabulary, develop greater fluency and comprehension, and increase their knowledge about topics that interest them! We have created a Clinton Public Schools Summer Learning Web Page to provide you with some book choices and other grade-level resources to help your children stay mentally fit this summer.
