The purpose of this website is to help Parents, Students, Teachers, and Campus and District Administrators find the information you need for 9 Week Checkpoints, MAP Growth, STAAR Interim, STAAR/EOC, STAAR Alternate 2, TELPAS, and TELPAS Alternate.

The partnership between families and schools has never been more important. Starting June 28th, log into (PARENT PORTAL NAME/TEXASASSESSMENT.GOV) to see your child’s STAAR results. These results, along with report card grades, can help you work with teachers to co-create learning plans next school year.

Parent Information about Student Assessments

At the beginning of each school year, or when your child enrolls if enrollment occurs later in the year, parents and guardians may request information about the assessments their child may be required to take.

Upon request, Clint ISD will provide information in a timely manner about state and local assessment requirements, including any district policies or procedures related to student participation in required assessments.

What Parents Need to Know

Under Texas law, there is no parent opt-out option for state-mandated assessments. Students are expected to participate in required state assessments.

The district administers local assessments to support programs such as the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and for student progress monitoring. If any of these assessments include a parent opt-out option under district policy, that information will be provided.

Parents and guardians who have questions about assessment requirements or would like additional information may contact their child's campus or the district office.
