My name is Mrs. Ivana Marmolejo, and I am currently the Interventionist here at East Monatana Middle School. The 2022-2023 school year is my eleventh year of teaching and working with middle school students. I began as a Lobo at Rio Bravo Middle School in 2012, and I am happy to be known as a Rattler these past four years. 😊

Here’s a little bit about my background. As a child, I always loved learning new things, reading books, and drawing pictures. My family was always musically inclined, and I played the saxophone and later became a percussionist.

I attended Bel Air High School and later graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso in December of 2011. Thereafter, I began my teaching career in 2012 with YISD and transferred to CISD in 2019.

Some of the activities I enjoy are exercising, reading, streaming my favorite shows, and spending time with my dogs. Every now and then, I like to stop by my mom’s house, where my old drum set is at, and jam out on the drums! 🥁

My husband, Josh, and I enjoy going to the movies, eating at our favorite restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
