Hello,

I am Mr. Alvarez and I am teaching 8th Grade Science.

I am very happy and excited to meet all of you and look forward to a great school year.

About Me:

I grew up in the El Paso area and was eager to practice teaching in my hometown.

I am very proud to state that I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at El Paso.

The reason I decided to become a teacher is because I have had many other job experiences in different fields and the ultimate reason why my interest in teaching became so firm is because no matter the job or position, the one thing that employers look for is a high level of education. This is why I want to stress out to all of my students the importance of them getting an education. This will make me feel accomplished as an educator.
