Terms & Conditions of Service - Clinical Touch Podiatry
Effective Date: 1st January 2025
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Clinical Touch Podiatry website (www.clinicaltouchpodiatry.com) and the provision of all podiatry and reflexology services provided by Mark Wolstenholme and the Clinical Touch team at the 358 Edge Lane clinic.
3.1 Service Provider and Scope
Service Provider: Clinical Touch Podiatry, operated by Mark Wolstenholme, HCPC-Registered Podiatrist. Services: Includes Routine Podiatry, Diabetic Foot Assessments, Biomechanical Assessments, Orthotic Therapy, and Reflexology Therapy, as detailed in our published Price Structure. Referrals: Services may include recommendations for referral to other specialists, including Clinical Touch Sports Rehab in Oldham for physiotherapy, but the decision to proceed remains entirely with the patient.
3.2 Appointments and Payment
Booking: All appointments are subject to availability and the acceptance of our Cancellation & No-Show Policy.
Fees: Fees for services are as published in the current Clinical Touch Podiatry Price Structure (e.g., Nail Care £20, Biomechanical Assessment £40). Fees are subject to change without prior notice but will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Payment: Full payment is required prior to the provision of the service. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards.
Non-Payment: Clinical Touch Podiatry reserves the right to withhold future services until all outstanding fees, including late cancellation or no-show charges, are settled.
3.3 Patient Responsibility
By booking an appointment, you agree that you are responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete medical information and history to the treating practitioner.
Adhering to the clinic's Cancellation & No-Show Policy.
Following all aftercare and treatment advice given by the practitioner. Failure to do so may affect the success of the treatment, for which the clinic accepts no liability.
3.4 Limitation of Liability
Clinical Touch Podiatry, its owner, and practitioners maintain comprehensive Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
We accept liability for personal injury or death caused by the negligence of our practitioners while providing the service.
We do not accept liability for:
Any loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the clinic premises.
The failure of treatment if the patient did not adhere to the prescribed treatment plan or aftercare instructions.
3.5 Intellectual Property
The content, branding, logo, and structure of the Clinical Touch Podiatry website and related marketing materials are the intellectual property of Mark Wolstenholme. They may not be copied or reproduced without prior written consent.
3.6 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
