Welcome to band! 

My name is Mrs. Louie, and I am the band teacher at School #1, School #5, and School #9. I am very excited that your child has decided to learn a band instrument for next year!

I want to take a moment to explain how our band program works, what you can expect from your child, and how you can help your child succeed in band. 

Every new skill takes time to master and learning an instrument is no different! The sounds will probably not be so pleasant at first, but will improve as your student practices and progresses. With your help, your children will be on the road to becoming lifelong musicians!

I am so excited to work with your children next year! I know they are all going to become amazing musicians!
