CLIFTON RECREATION VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There will be MANY opportunities to volunteer for various community service projects through the Clifton Recreation Department. All opportunities will be emailed to you. You must call or email recreation to sign up: 973-470-5956 or cliftonrec@cliftonnj.org

OCTOBER 28- HARVEST FEST at Main Memorial Park

Each year we have a blast volunteering at Clifton’s Harvest Fest. We arrive at Main Memorial Park in the morning to set up many different game booths. Once they are set up and the children from the Halloween parade arrive, we work the booths. After the witches, goblins, cheerleaders, and princesses go home we break down all of the booths. Harvest Fest is fun! If you’d like to volunteer for a shift, call or email Recreation to sign up: 973-470-5956 cliftonrec@cliftonnj.org. You DO NOT have to volunteer all day. You may choose one shift.: 11am to 5:30pm, 9am to 11:30am, 11am to 5:30pm.

5K Stampede and Health Walk (set-up) – November 16 for Set-up from 5:00 to 7:30pm, then at City Hall Complex on Sunday, November 18 from 7am to 12pm

Salute to the Veterans Concert - Monday, September 17 at Clifton Boys and Girls Club

Clifton Candyland – December 7(Set-up) 3:30pm to 6:30pm, and December 8 at City Hall Complex 4:30pm to 9:30pm

Sundae BINGO: March

Jigsaw Puzzle Contest: April

Bunny Bash: April

Daddy/Daughter Date Night: April

☺ Many of our Key Clubbers have been awarded the “Clifton Recreation Youth Award” for the many hours they volunteered for Clifton Recreation. A few are: Roaa Hamdeh, Chinue Thompson, Ashley Brandecker, Hayley Fabian, and James Freyland.

☺ All volunteers are invited to the Clifton Recreation Volunteer Banquet in May.
