• Small group lessons are once a week.

• Large group practices are twice a week.

•  CCMS large group practices are every Tuesday and Thursday during your study.

• MVMS large group practices  are every Monday during your study and after school every Wednesday.

• WWMS large group practices are every Wednesday and Friday during your ILT.

Instrument Information

We encourage you to rent from The Music Shop.  Since students are still growing in 6th grade, it makes more sense to rent instead of to buy.  It is important to use the right size instrument.  If you rented in 5th grade, you may need to switch to a bigger size in 6th grade.

Please do not buy an instrument from the internet.  Also do not expect to be able to play an instrument that is painted pink, blue, white or black.  Those instruments look nice but are nearly impossible to actually play and don't sound very good.  If you are determined to buy an instrument, contact me first.

There are also a limited number of school instruments are available.  If you got an instrument in 5th grade through the Music Angels program, you can generally use a school instrument in 6th grade.

Music

Look in the "Music" tab for songs and scale sheets that you can play over the summer.  All music will be posted in our Google Classroom too.
