Ms. Rembecky

Ms. Rembecky began working with the Drama Club in 2006.  She has designed, constructed, and advised students on the creation of scenery, costumes, make-up, publicity, and fundraising campaigns.  She has directed numerous shows, as well as taken the club to theatre festivals and Broadway workshops.

The best part of the club is watching students grow into upstanding, responsible, fearless, and generous adults who understand that commitment, inspiration, determination, and collaboration will lead to success.  Our students prove, year after year, that the American playwright, Arthur Miller, was correct when he said, “The mission of the theatre, after all, is to change, to raise the consciousness of people to their human possibilities.”  The Drama Club is dedicated to allowing students to explore their unique possibilities.

Ms. Shawala

Ms. Shawala has been with the Drama club since 2018 and is the Musical Director for the spring musicals.  She works alongside the director to lead the club in a wide variety of community events, competitions, and plays.  She is excited to see how this new year will take shape, and welcomes everyone to come along for what is sure to be a fun-filled and adventurous journey.

Mr. Sherwood

Mr. Sherwood has been involved in the Dramatic Arts since he was 15 years old.  Across all of that time, the only thing that he has NOT done in regards to theatre and drama is sing on stage, and it is not something that anyone will ever see. He came to CPHS in 2015 and right away was offered a chance to work with the Drama Club and cameo in some of the musicals.  Drama club means a lot to him, and helping our young performers find their voice and their talents is the most rewarding part of working with this exceptional group of students.  Mr. Sherwood works with the media aspects of the Drama Club, through social media, website design, and student relations, both performers and crew.  He also works with the Historian to maintain the Drama Club memory book.
