This is me!
Hello! My name is Amanda Matson and I am so happy to welcome you to our kindergarten classroom. It is going to be an exciting year. I have been teaching at Blythe-Bower for 9 years. I LOVE my job. It is wonderful to come each day and hang out and teach some of the coolest 5 and 6 year olds around. There is never a boring day!
A few things about me....This is my husband Brad and we have 1 dog and her name is Maggie. In my free time I like to run and be outside. I have completed 12 half marathons and 1 full marathon and hope to add more to this! We also enjoy traveling when we have time to do so.
Here are some of videos that review our standards that we have been working on. They are recorded as they could be shown in the classroom, so please ignore the questions of raising your hand :). I will try to get some fresh videos uploaded that will cover some different standards. If you will show these to your students, I would greatly appreciate it! If you have a paper and pencil for the phonics videos that will be great help.
