Resetting a Student Password

1. Open Rapid Identity: https://clevelandisd.us001-rapididentity.com

2. Login using your Computer account credentials (the same one you use to log into a CISD windows computer).

3. On the left hand side click the tab that says Site Admin - <your location>

4. Use the search bar to find the student

a. Students can be searched by First name, Last name, or ID number

5. Click on the student’s name to select them, then at the bottom of the screen click

‘Change Password’

6. The change password dialogue box should now be on the right hand side of the

screen. Follow the instructions for password complexity rules. 

a. As you type a password the criteria will light up green when it is met.

b. The passwords for BOTH laptops/computers and Google/Chromebooks have been reset.

The Following is the District Standard for Password Resets:

Elementary Students (K - 6):

The default password is...

● <cisd><ID#>

● Example: if my ID # is 123456 my password would be cisd123456

Secondary Students (7 - 12):

When a secondary student first logs in with their default password (see

below) they will be asked to immediately change their password.

● The default password is:

○ <first initial><last name><ID#> <#>

○ Example: If the student is...

■ Mary Garcia Anyan with an ID # of 23456

■ The password would be mgarciaanyan23456#
