We are all very excited to begin this new school year. We look forward to starting some new games and activities that allow for social distancing. We want to have fun and stay safe at all costs! Most importantly, let's have a great time!
KMIS operates with a three-day schedule – which includes art, media, music, information technology (iSkills), and physical education. Each day will be assigned a number rather than a day of the week in the schedule. In a three-day schedule, each student will have one day of physical education, one days iSkills or media, and one days of art or music. At the end of the first semester art and music will swap rotation with media and iSkills for the second semester.
You and your Pioneer will need to know which rotation day it is before leaving for school. Knowing this will make certain your student is prepared for the proper encore class. Post the schedule provided in the beginning-of-year paperwork folder on your refrigerator or some other place that is easy for everyone to see.
