The purpose of FFA (Future Farmers of America) is to prepare students for leadership, personal growth, and career success in agriculture and related fields. It provides opportunities for students to develop skills in agricultural education, leadership, communication, and community involvement. FFA encourages students to explore hands-on experiences in areas like plant science, animal science, agribusiness, and environmental science, while also promoting responsibility, teamwork, and career readiness.
FFA is a student-led organization. Students are encouraged to take ownership and play an active role in its operations. This structure is intentional, as it fosters leadership, accountability, and real-world responsibility—key values of the FFA experience.
Each year incoming 7th and 8th grade students are encouraged to apply! Applications will be made available April 13th, 2026 and are due on April 17th. Interviews will be held by a panel on April 30th after school.
