The purpose of FFA (Future Farmers of America) is to prepare students for leadership, personal growth, and career success in agriculture and related fields. It provides opportunities for students to develop skills in agricultural education, leadership, communication, and community involvement. FFA encourages students to explore hands-on experiences in areas like plant science, animal science, agribusiness, and environmental science, while also promoting responsibility, teamwork, and career readiness.
FFA is a student-led organization. Students are encouraged to take ownership and play an active role in its operations. This structure is intentional, as it fosters leadership, accountability, and real-world responsibility—key values of the FFA experience. Teams are subject to change based on the competition and needs of the student.
Each year incoming 7th and 8th grade students are encouraged to apply! Applications will be made available March 9th, 2026 and are due on April 30th. Interviews will be held by a panel on May 5th after school.
