Welcome to science!

Welcome 7th and 8th graders!! I am excited to meet you and get started with a great year of science exploration. 7th grade science has three units that we will be studying: 'Matter and its Interactions' where we learn all about the elements that make up our world, 'Molecules to Organisms' where we will learn about the smallest unit of life, and 'Heredity' where you will learn about how you received some of the same traits that your ancient ancestors passed down! 8th grade starts with a unit on 'Earth's Systems' then 'Fossils and Common Ancestry' and finally moves into 'Human Impact on Earth's Systems'

Most of our work will be on paper this year, if you are absent for an extended period, please check in with me during FIT the day you return for make up work.
