The US National Winner receives a $50,000 SAFE Note Prize.

From the 95 startups graduating the 2023 US Accelerator, two major regional pitch competitions whittled the companies to Regional Winners and Runners-Up who became the Top 18 National Semifinalists.

A unique aspect of Cleantech Open's nonprofit mission is that we work deeply with and "level up" all entrepreneurs going through our 6 month program - and then run competitions at the end. 

This is in contrast to many other accelerators that sometimes brag about accepting only a tiny fraction of applicants (just like Harvard!) and then work with just 5-10 companies per cohort. We work with 100+ - therefore building a huge cadre of better-skilled entrepreneurs, whether to benefit their current CTO venture or future ventures.
