CPC Events & Volunteer Opportunities

Every Year we Start the year off right spreading positivity with welcome back chalk messages to our CLCS students and staff. And although sometimes the rain washes our positivity away faster than other years *2026 😭* we try to photograph it to show it off anyway. All families are more than welcome and encouraged to participate! It's a super fun way to welcome families back and get some squats in without realizing it 😂 Check out our photos page for this years chalk art.

Each year we like to remind our CLCS families to spread kindness!! We have partnered with Raise Above it to host a kindness fundraiser and the steps are actually really simple. 

The first night your student will bring home a flyer, scan the QR code to register your student(s) and send 10 texts/ emails or a combination of both to friends and family members. Turn in your boarding pass from the flyer and that's it. They get a prize and their kindness passport the next day! (This year it's squishies!)

Throughout the 2-week period your student will be asked to do 3 acts of kindness; one at home, one at school, and one in the community. Once they do that, they can turn in their kindness passport to be entered into a raffle where 50 Students will win a prize from the treasure chest.

If a student raises over $150, they will receive a monkey neck pillow as well.

Dine-N-Shares are pretty much just what they sound like. You eat at a restraunt on a specific day and the restraunt shares a percentage of sales with our school. We try to host several of these each year because they don't cost families anything extra. Dine-N-Shares for the 2026-2027 school year will be added below as they are planned. If you have a restraunt or know of one you would like us to team up with, please reach out. We would LOVE to work with places our CLCS families like to support.

This school year the Holiday Shop will be hosted 12/7-12/11. We will be open each school day for classes to visit and shop as well as staying open Thursday 12/10 until 6PM.

Preview Gift Items 

This year Donuts with Grown Ups will be held February 25th. This event will be free to CLCS families as CPC'S way of giving back and thanking families for all their support each year. With that being said we will need lots of volunteers to help plan, as well as volunteers for set up the night before the event and the morning of the event itself. If you are interested in helping please let us know. We will have a sign up for set up and day of the event as it gets closer and times are finalized. Students must have an adult attend the event with them to participate.

Fun Fair is a huge school event that takes months of planning and a ton of volunteers. It includes games, concessions, raffles, inflatables, crafters, face painers, hair tinsel artists, vendors, and sometimes event a petting zoo. The sky is the limit, we are always looking to add more. This school year fun fair will happen on April 10th, but it CANNOT happen without support from families, room ambassadors, and volunteers. If you are interested in helping with fun fair PLEASE let us know ASAP. We are in search of businesses that are willing to donate items/services as well as vendors that would like to participate. 

Teacher Appreciation week is May 3rd to May 7th, 2027. Each year CPC does a different themed week to support our amazing staff and each day of the week is a different on theme treat for them. Think you'd like to help with this? Let us know! We'd love to have you😀
