Service Guidelines

Thank you for choosing VCLP! Filling out the survey Online indicates that you agree to the Service Guidelines, therefore please read the following clauses closely.

How to register

  1. Please fill in this GOOGLE FORM, TKUCLC will contact you a.s.a.p.

  2. After your application has been confirmed, please make the payment online with a credit card or pay by cash at our office counter.

  3. The minimum number of hours for each registration is 20 hours. Registration applications for less than 20 hours will not be accepted.

  4. If you purchase more than 20 hours for a course, the additional hours need to be in the multiple of ten.

  5. Except for your work reasons, a minimum of 10 hours is required per month.

*Minors cannot apply. You must apply to the legal representative (for example, parental authorization). Minors should use it with the approval of their parents and family members.

*For those who are in the same industry are strictly prohibited from registering for the purposes of commercial use.

class rules

  1. Students must prepare computers, microphones, earphones, and video cameras by themselves for the classes. TKUCLC is not responsible for providing computing devices.

  2. Please be on-time for the class. Students should take full responsibility for not doing so. Class sessions will not be extended and no make-up classes will be offered.

  3. In case students are late for the class, teachers will wait online for up to 30 minutes, after which teachers will go offline. No make-up class will be offered.

  4. TKUCLC will assign a teacher to have an online meeting (not counted in the class hours) with you before a session begins officially. During the meeting we will:

(1)Ensure your devices work well and the internet connection is stable.

(2)The teacher will also confirm your Chinese language proficiency level and the direction of the classes.

(3)The teacher will confirm the time you start the class officially and the number of classes per week.

(4)Please communicate fully with the teacher, so that the teacher can understand you better and design the course that is more in line with you.

  1. If your software and hardware settings are changed after the class begins, please test the software and hardware first. TKUCLC is not responsible for any technical problems which are not caused by the TKUCLC.

  2. The entire course will be recorded to maintain the quality of the course and protect the rights of teachers and students.


Class Absence, Changing Times Policy

  1. Absence due to reasons beyond your control, leave requests must be sent to the teacher at least 24 hours before a class session begins. Make-up classes will not be granted for students who do not submit a leave request 24 hours in advance of the missed session. Under this circumstance, please e-mail TKUCLC your reason why you cannot send your leave request 24 hours before the class. TKUCLC will review your reasons before granting approving leave.

  2. For 1-on-1 class students: After completing the leave request process, the make-up class will be automatically postponed once. If students want to change the class time, you may discuss the time with your teacher. Then the teacher will then inform TKUCLC to make necessary changes.

  3. For a class of 2 students(or more): A class session will be held as usual when there is at least one student is attending the session. If a student requires to take leave, no refund or make-up classes will be arranged. In case students wish to change the class timings of a particular day, all students of the same class must set and agree to a set time and date before informing the teacher.

  4. Purchased hours must be used within one year following the purchase date. If you need to take leave for a certain time, please e-mail TKUCLC to apply for an extended leave of absence to reserve your unfinished hours. The remaining hours can be made up within one year from the date of payment.


Refund Rules

  1. According to the Regulations of Continuing Education:

(1)Before the course begins: 90% of tuition will be refunded.

(2)Before completing one-third of course: 50% of tuition will be refunded.

(3)After completing one-third of course: NO REFUND.

  1. The refund application should be submitted to TKUCLC by E-mail. TKUCLC will inform students of the approval or denial. If approved, a refund will be made to your credit card or transferred to the designated bank account. Other relevant fees (i.e. registration fees, books, etc) are not refundable (Students must bear external charges relating to the refund, remittance fees, and exchange rate).

Transfer Rules

The transfer of class hours is limited to one time only, please apply to TKUCLC by E-mail. The handling fee is NT$1,500, and the transfer will be completed after the payment is confirmed.

Renewal requirements

  1. In order to renew the course with the same teacher, please make the payment online with a credit card (minimum 20 hours). After receiving the payment, TKUCLC will notify the teacher and the student to discuss the new class time, and the teacher will report TKUCLC with the new course schedule.

  2. In order to renew the course with a new teacher, please fill in this google form again, and make the payment online with a credit card (minimum 20 hours). TKUCLC will arrange teachers and courses for students.
