COSTUME PA Notes

What an incredible production! "This Murder Was Staged" was an amazing way to end the first semester. On the final night of every show, the entire cast becomes emotional as we say goodbye to each other. We spend so much time working on this, and we are all incredibly proud of our efforts. We won't be seeing our friends in other grades every day, and we won't have a group of kids to share our excitement about musicals or to sing "SIX" in the hallways (until we start working on this year's musical).

This year’s Costume Crew means a lot to me! We’ve been through a ton together, figuring things out as a team. We started excitedly hunting for costumes, but we found that they weren't quite right. We rolled up our sleeves, searched for new pieces, and had a blast altering them to make everything work. It’s been such a fun journey, and I love how it’s brought us all closer!

My experience with theatre has been enormous. From the tireless hours working on a costume, to sitting on a headset watching the show backstage (as you’re reading this I’m probably doing that). We work tirelessly to produce the show, and commit our lives for two months, to see a beautiful play.

This project relies on Mr. Engelmeyer, Mr. Deanes, Mr. Khun, and Mr. Urvan. On behalf of the entire company,  I want to thank our amazing directors, who are essential to every production we undertake. Hope you enjoy our show! ;)
